If you don’t want to join the thousands of Australian home owners who spend a total of $100 million each year repairing damage caused by termite attacks, you should have an annual termite inspection by a trained professional. Our inspectors have a thorough knowledge of local building practice, the environment and ecology of termites and considerable experience performing termite inspections.

Not only can we determine whether there is an infestation when carrying out a termite inspection, we can also determine if there are conditions conducive to infestation present.

Our visual termite inspections cover, where possible and practical, all timber structures, fences, trees and stumps within the property boundary. Our termite inspections take in an area of up to 50 metres from the main building. Our team is trained to understand the habits of termites, the places they are likely to be found and the signs that indicate their presence.

Termite inspections include careful examination of roof voids, windows, trim timbers and skirting inside the house. We have upgraded our systems to include the revolutionary Termatrac T3i in all our termite inspections. The Termatrac T3i incorporates 3 important tools for inspections. A moisture meter to determine the level of moisture in the walls, a thermal imaging camera and, most importantly, a radar that allows us to detect movement behind any wall, window frame or just about any surface at all. The Termatrac T3i removes any guess work in inspections and provides complete peace of mind. A termite inspection is also carried out in the yard and the exterior of the house and any adjoining buildings. Sub floors, where there is access, are examined by inspectors who go underneath the house and search for entry points as termites build mud tunnels up from the ground.

All of these factors need to be taken into account during a termite inspection, as termite nests are generally concealed and difficult to locate.

Our team of inspectors take termite inspections very seriously as we have seen the devastation an infestation can cause. Once your termite inspection is complete, we can offer advice and we have a range of treatment options to safeguard your home against infestation.
