Termite/White Ants Control

Many people know and refer to termites as white ants. Both terms are correct. Termites/White Ants are a big problem in Australia and South East Queensland is especially prone due to its sub tropical climate. The term white ant is due to the colour of the workers. Termites/White Ants eat timber & wood products and as such are the largest threat to our biggest asset, our homes. Termites/White Ants do their damage secretly as they primarily come from the ground and can enter your home entirely unseen, often going undiscovered until vast amounts of damage have been done.

Your best defence against Termites/White Ants is to have an inspection each and every year and to protect your home against infestation with an approved termite protection such as a Termite/White Ant barrier.

Spiders Control

Queensland has many species of spiders ranging from web spinning spiders such as the Golden Orb and the St Andrews Cross to ground spiders such as the Huntsman, the Trapdoor and the Garden Wolf Spider. Many of our spiders are quite harmless, though most of us find them very unsightly, however we do have many spider species that are poisonous to humans, some even deadly. These are spiders such as the Red Back, The White Tail and the Black House spider to name but a few. It’s simple to keep your home spider free. Cockroach Pest Control

We use a combination of dust and spray to ensure the best possible result for you. our spray is very low toxic and odourless so no more of that awful chemical smell!! Many technicians use only a dust or a spray but we choose to use both as it provides the most effective treatment.

Ant Control

Funnel ants get their name from the shape of the entrance to the nest which is like a cone or a funnel in the ground. The nests can be so extensive and dense that their presence can severely effect soil structure making it fragile and prone to collapse. They are found Australia wide. The best way to treat ants is to have a licensed technician spray the nest, however dust, spraying and granolas can also be an effective treatment in some cases.

Green Ants

Green ants (weaver ants) are arboreal and are known for there unique nests in trees.they make their nests by sticking leaves together with a sticky substance to form a ball like nest.

Large numbers of arboreal colonies can occupy surrounding trees. Hundreds can be found in greenery in suburban areas. Outdoor activities are hampered by the danger of being bitten, especially if you have an allergy or sensitivity to them.

Flea Control

When treating a property for fleas it is a two fold process because the larvae must also be treated. This requires 2 separate visits to the property, usually 3 weeks apart, with the infested area being treated on both occasions.

We add an insect growth regulator to the spray both times. We treat to ensure any hatching larvae are treated.

Bed Bug Control

The bed bug is of widespread distribution around the world. historically, they are associated with the sleeping quarters of hotels, taverns, inns, hostels and other dormitory style facilities. The control of bed bugs is troublesome and involves improvement of hygiene and chemical treatment. Professional treatment follows a strict bed bug code of practice and therefore, it is important to have a treatment carried out by a professional pest control technician.

Rat and Mice Control

Some properties are invaded in autumn every year as rats and mice seek shelter in cooler weather. Others may be invaded when nearby areas are developed. If you are aware of a potential influx, contact your pest manager to introduce a programme before the event.

Bird Control

Birds frequently become pests, and control measures must be taken to relieve the many pest problems created by their persistence. Preventive measures are much preferred to killing, for it should be realised that in most instances where birds have become pests it is due to situations and environments created by human beings. Mosquitoes

Mosquitoes are one of the most dangerous health risks to humans the world over. South-east Queensland is sub tropical and is prone to high numbers of mosquitoes due to the climate. Flooding in january 2011 has created many more breeding sites for mosquitoes. Management can be difficult and requires a multi level treatment regime. Treatment and the control of mosquitoes is very effective in enclosed areas such as under high set homes or building interiors.
